Who we are
Human Rights International (HRI) is a non-religious, non-political and financially independent humanitarian organisation of human rights supporters. HRI is also a non-profit organization, which works towards its goals through non-violent means. Our motto: reveal, protect and document.
HRI was founded on August 1st 2002 in Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy.
What we aim to achieve
More than half a century has passed since the United Nations Organisation laid down the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (10.12.1948) but, nevertheless, these basic human rights have still not been successfully granted to all individuals.
The basic rights in life are in fact, for millions of people today, still not valid. We want to help change this. HRI's objective is to make a contribution to granting and respecting Human Rights throughout the world.
