Following the device „promote, document and defend Human Rights“, Human Rights International (HRI) works in the areas of awareness raising, advice and the defense of indigent victims of human rights violations.

The Declaration of Human Rights is an achievement, which only was obtained after two devastating world wars. In this „Universal Declaration of Human Rights“, announced by the United Nations on 12.10.1948, the international community has affirmed rights which should be guaranteed to all people of the world.

Nevertheless in many countries they are still non valid or only partially respected. This „fundamental rights“ illuminate the darkness like a light in the dark room, if leaders of politics, religion, economy, society and family allow it.
The recognition of Human Rights creates life quality and is a basic requirement for a world-wide coexistence and collaboration in freedom and peace.

HRI will contribute to the implementation of the Vienna Declaration and the action that were adopted by the UN World Conference on Human Rights on  25th June 1999, and is particularly committed to human rights defenders.Their rights are set in the United Nations resolution 53/11 of 8 March 1999.
